apparently they are coming out with their album in a few weeks, I'm not sure how much of howerdel's vocals I've heard on a perfect circle but i'm hoping he can pull off lead singer

their single, the stone, has already been played on radio, can anyone comment on it?

http://www.myspace.com/ashesdivide you can hear it here, maybe his voice will grow on me

it sounds a lot like APC, only with Billy on vox. I haven't decided if I 100 percent dig 'em ... On a related note, Maynard's son, Devo, plays cello on the album

album came out, the reviews on amazon seem like it is good, not great, more like a promising but not spectacular debut album

also saying don't expect it to sound like apc as much as one thinks

anyone pick it up yet and have any opinoins?

imho, if Maynard was on vox, it would sound a lot like APC.

I got it, more like apc than a lot of the reviews were suggesting, definetly atmospheric, kind of feels like apc lite right now but still pretty good

his voice is a lot better than i thought too, nothing spectacular but it fits the music, i'll know more after i get in to it more

its like APC without the occasional ass kicking hard rock tune thrown in every 4th track

after a couple listens, i'm not that impressed. there are a couple songs i could groove too, but i'm glad i didn't pay for it.

if they muted Billy's vox, and dubbed in Maynard ... things would be peachy.

I've listened to it more and I like it, it's kind of a scaled back more personal version of circle, it doesn't really compare to the high points of the earlier band but if you just love the unique style they had then you won't be disapointed

They're playing in Raleigh at Projekt Revolution on July 25th.
Chris Cornell and Ashes Divide will be enough to get me past the fact that Linkin Park is there.

excuse me,
Chris Cornell, Ashes divide, and lots of alcohol will be enough.
(I've always been a huge Chris Cornell fan)
