Retirement plan: 3 years ending in April

oh i forgot about the retirement plan...

i've had that through work and the life insurance policy for about 6 years now...


but i had a special life insurance policy until age 30....so as of july i have to make adjustments and pick a specific policy...

it'll end up being sorta like another IRA...and I have one of those too

making a will is the easiest part. or, it was for me, because my parents had their lawyer draw up a general will for me 2 years ago before we went on our trip to mexico (they always check/update their wills before they're gonna go out of the country).

i know...but it's so morbid...

not that having a life insurance policy isn't...but i have a house that has to be paid for and i'm not expecting my parents to pay it off if something happens to me...even though they would....


but even if i die....after all my debts are paid....whoever ends up with my policy money (currently my brother) is going to get a pretty freaking penny.....

so...life insurance policy is taken care of...

i pay a set fee until i'm 49 and the policy is paid off....i then have that entire amount to invest as i see fit...it's sorta like a 401K type thing...

I also maintain the whole life policy i've been paying on since '02...with the term life rider removed....so i can draw on it at any time one the cash value is high enough and i can stop paying on it at any time as well...


also i just got my first mortgage statement since i renewed my loan...i'm paying $1.86 more than i was and my house will be paid off in 6 years...

things are looking good....

now buy some avon from me so i can pay these bills

p.s. i'll try to make this the last thread i bttt for a while...i'm just killing time at work and doing some personal paperwork and discovering these things
