Raleigh, N.C. — Firefighters are battling a blaze at Concord Apartments in Raleigh off Duraleigh Road.

Twenty minutes after the fire was reported, one building of the complex was fully involved and heavy smoke was visible over the area.

Citing the apartments' property manager, Patricia LeRoy, director of Emergency Service of the Triangle chapter of the American Red Cross, said about 12 two- and three-bedroom units affected. She was unaware of any injuries.

The Red Cross will be setting up a service center in the community clubhouse to provide emergency food, clothing and shelter for residents.

I almost signed at olde raleigh, its right in front of concord, but didn't cause they raised the price on us. My buddy's gf lives at highlands, right next door. My gf was gonna go check out concord cause they were offering $525/mo for a 1br. Not anymore
