Why don't you just admit you have no chance to win and say "if you are dissatisfied with both parties, voting for this candidate voices that" 3/28/2008 9:02:34 PM |

There should be a party for the huge number of people that don't vote.
What would you call it?

Somebody please ask Mike to take his meds. I'm worried about the poor man.

I think the issue's a total distraction.

Until you properly identify and attack the problem--wholly irresponsible spending policies--you're going to be chasing one "better tax system" windmill after another, treating symptom after symptom when the problem itself would've been cheaper and quicker.
Government sucks. 3/30/2008 1:41:00 AM |

But until that great day of intelligent spending arrives, the FairTax windmill will 'turn' us towards the right direction.3/30/2008 9:23:55 AM |

A hundred years from now after the debate is over, the nation flat broke, and a Fair Tax is implemented...then we'll be ready to focus on fixing the spending?
Nah. I think that's a simple "cart before the horse" problem.3/30/2008 2:48:40 PM |

Oh no:
Barr Considering Run for President
Quote : | "ATLANTA (2008-04-07) Former Republican Representative Bob Barr says he is considering a run for the white house under the Libertarian party.
The former Federal Prosecutor turned congressman says he hopes to offer voters a viable third option come November.
Barr made his announcement over the weekend at a Libertarian conference in Kansas.
The former Georgia congressman left the G-O-P in 2006 over what he called bloated spending and civil liberties intrusions by the Bush administration.
59-year-old Barr became a darling of conservatives in the 1990s for his persistent attacks on President Clinton.
He currently runs a lobbying and public affairs firm with offices in Atlanta and outside Washington.
Barr has formed begun work on an exploratory committee for the presidency and says he expects to have a decision by Memorial Day." |
