the optical cables are thinner than the one monster cable i own but i wouldn't say they have "no insulation". they meet my needs and work just as well as the monster cable. you can check em out if you wanna swing by.=, i'm free all day today.

these are monoprice cables so they are quality. if you just want a couple cables my prices are better once you add shipping, plus u get em now. i'm not making a lot on these . i still have some left. just pm me guys
