I heard the dance team got some money from the WPC and left for nationals this morning. The cheerleaders and the mascots had no issues as far as getting there. Post any updates that you get on the competion results. I know there are some cheerleaders on here and some people that know the dance team. This is the best weekend of the year for the Wolfpack because it's the one time each year that we can pretty much count on finishing in the top ten in the nation. With the rest of our teams we have to hope they can finish in the top 10 in the conference.

For the mascot competition don't they just send in a tape? A good friend of mine used to be Mr. Wuf and I think that's how he did it. Maybe that's why he didn't win, though.

no, wasnt Tanner cuz he won it all

they send in a tape and thats how they pre-rank them

then they have to do a live routine in person and then they are judged on that, kind of like a skit

if i remember Tanner telling me correctly

I know that the cheerleaders and dance team send in a video and if you finish in the top 8(?) you get a paid bid to go to the NCA/NDA Nationals and the teams that finish below that have to pay for their hotel room, or whatever the paid bid teams get for free.

So after doing some searching the All Girl Intermediate team finished second behind Georgia Southern in the preliminary round. WE CURRENTLY HAVE A TEAM RANKED SECOND IN THE NATION! Oh, and here is a link to see performance order and results. We have a lot of teams down there.

them byu girls is good! But, makes sense... they have precision dance (cheer dance) as an option from middle school through highschool. I dont think highschools around here even offer that option (or at least they didnt when I was in middle and high school), step team was the closest they came after cheerleading. Apparently, precision dance is the preferred sport of the "cheerleader types" around those parts.

BYU going for the 4 peat!! Thats some crazyness.
