i just tried an introductory offer, and damn if their setup disk didn't install a bunch of suspicious spyware that tries to run at startup.

anyone deal with qwest?

my thoughts exactly, but the modem wouldnt activate unless i ran the damn thing. it put a ton of Qwest and MSN crapware on my laptop, which is already boogered up enough as it is with Vista.

goddamn, i was starting to like MS for a moment. warm fuzzy feeling is gone.
