Anyone know of any baseball or softball teams that need an outfielder? Or does anyone want to put together a baseball team for this coming fall?

Yeah I actually went out there and played with those guys. Had a couple of good practice sessions, but then everyone quit.

Ya, we tried to do this 2 years ago, but it crapped out, because there were only a few guys would consistently show up.

To organize a team properly I think players would have to pay their dues up front before being allowed to join a team (so that they have put forth a real commitment).

I played with a few guys from here out there but I was already on a team in that adult league. Was fun too... You can sign up as an individual I think and be placed on a team. It's run through Raleigh Parks & Rec so just go to their site. I believe it was a fall league...

Not that it matters for you guys, but they have some GREAT leagues out here in CA to play in. So much fun... plus the post game beer coolers are not only allowed, but they are encouraged.. unlike in NC.

there are several softball leagues around here and one very competitive baseball league...
