please don't vote. Anyone that is fucking stupid enough to think that UNC is a private university certainly doesn't need to be voting. I suggest, instead, that you have your balls cut off so that you don't pollute our gene pool with your stupidity

if you're registered as "unaffiliated," you can show up to the Democratic ones

so long as you don't also go to the Republican ones

[Edited on April 11, 2008 at 8:18 PM. Reason : I don't know that there's an "independent" designation]

i suggest you learn how to think. And read. I mean, if you would read, you might know that UNC is a public university. Seriously. please don't vote. People like you are the reason that Democracy will fail

umm. He said it was a "private college." Please. Tell me another interpretation of that which doesn't require one to be drunk to believe it

SF, the other 2 may be options, but we all know that only 2 (O and C) of the 4 are possible winners. and if i dont want one of those 2 to win (C), then there is one vote iin particular that would carry significant weight (O).

im just wondering if that means im hedging my bets, in the sense of the whole election. trying to have a lesser of 2 evils be the person nominated to run against my candidate

(especially since i'm not really pulling for mccain, otherwise i might try to get clinton in against him so she'd lose. but im scared of her winning that much!)

^ I believe that gravel is on the ticket as democrat. Most states take a while to pull candidates off a ballot.

Are you sure you can vote for the Dem primary if you are unaffiliated? I don't want to waste a trip there if I can't. links?

it seems like she found info on the BOE website. if you find info, let me know. i dont mind wasting time and just showing up, because i was too lazy and just assumed you could show up there. no ones gonna be there anyways

i'd imagine that if you had to fill something out, the deadline would be today too.

Ahh nm...I found it. I'm good to vote in either Primary...but can only choose one or the other...according to the NCDP

Quote :
"In North Carolina, unaffiliated voters are permitted to vote in the Democratic primary.

However, if an unaffiliated voter chooses to vote in the Democratic primary, he or she cannot vote in a Republican runoff (or second primary). Similarly, an unaffiliated voter who votes in a Republican primary cannot vote in a Democratic runoff."
