^ well, the israeli-palestinian conflict has been going on for 50+ years, and that's only because it hasn't be resolved.

has the mac-windows conflict been resolved? i think not!

my point is that if you're an average user that just surfs the net and etc then there is no real difference between one and the other
except that the mac is way more cooler, i dunno, i just have a tingling feeling using the mac, that means its cool

Ever since they upgraded me to the new Safari (I'm still on Tiger), it's been so slow and almost unresponsive. I've switched almost entirely to Camino / Firefox.

I am on a MacBook running Vista. The only annoyances are getting use to the lack of a 'right click' and 'point to click.' Once you get use to that, it's just like any laptop. My husband talked me into getting a MacBook because he promised that I could run Vista if I did not like the Mac Environment, which I gave a week, but I'm just too use to windows.

you can right-click and point to click on macs... even macs running windows...

hold 2 fingers on the touchpad while clicking, that's a right click

and you can enable point to click in the settings

they include a touchpad driver with bootcamp

you do know touching with two fingers + click = right click, right?

i like the extra inputs on windows machines, like multiple mouse buttons

macs are just so awkward to do anything other than primary click

I mean like ACTUALLY right clicking. Yes, I know how to use the secondary click. I've been on a laptop with a right click button for about 10 years now, so it's hard to get use to doing something different.

And if you can 'point-to-click' with Bootcamp, then how come it is something that on the Mac forums they admit that they didn't include. A lot of people are complaining about the inability to use the touch pad for clicking. I've had my MacBook running bootcamp for about a month now and still haven't figured out how to enable it.
