if you filled in zero select one of the following
-1 years in federal pound me in the ass prison
-enroll for active duty in the infantry
-forfeit all possesion to irs

Try $3000. If your adjusted gross income < $3000, you are ineligible for the stimulus package.

i still havent done mine, im broke and cant afford to pay a tax place but its too complicated to do on my own
oh well, time to ask the parents for money

^ If you can add and subtract you should be fine. Just follow the directions and go down line by line. And if you are broke, you will probably be in a low tax bracket, and get a refund. You should definitely file. It takes maybe 40 minutes tops.

where can I file my state taxes electronically for free?

^ A lot of the free programs let you file for free for your federal return and then charge you for your state return. I used taxwise to e-file my state return, but it was through the IRS VITA/TCE program, so you'll have to check and see if the software is available for everyone.

1 - Read
2 - Add/Subtract
3 - Write
