So is it shaped like a pineapple? I always liked the banana because it was shaped like a banana. The heart-shaped one didn't make a lot of sense to me.

the mango ones taste terrible. they made a huge mistake getting rid of the original flavors. Oh and I think they have blueberry in there too now

here's the whole runts story, so everyone will be aware of the flavor timeline:

First seen on the market in 1982, they are fruit flavored candies in the shape of their respective fruits. Original Runts have a hard candy shell with a somewhat powdery center. The original lineup of Runts included banana, orange, cherry, strawberry, and lime. In the late nineties, Runts included watermelon and blue raspberry and did not include lime. Starting in 2007, the flavors for Runts were orange, banana, strawberry, mango, and pineapple. In the 1990s there was a variation known as "Tropical Runts" available. The blue raspberry and watermelon Runts originated in this candy. A similar variant, "Rock'n Runts", contained watermelon, pineapple, lemon, raspberry, and grape flavors. In 2007 the Willy Wonka Candy Company added two new fruit variations to Runts which included pineapple and mango. There is also a soft and chewy version of Runts known as Chewy Runts."

I didn't realize it had been that long since I've had runts...I never had the watermelon ones I'm sure...

I got some tonight...the pineapples are the winnars, but I still say cherry shoulda stayed and banana shoulda been given the boot.
