I listened to 850 on my way to bojangles & the guys on there talking about the panther's potential draft were so god-awful that I now refuse to listen to the entire station ever again (except for rome) until they are rightfully fired

You're full of crap. Dave Glenn takes BS in stride better than anyone. I've rarely ever seen him lose his cool or get caught flat-footed... even when Billy Packer was a total dick when asked about rumors that he was leaving CBS.

Another thing - You started a thread b/c you were on 850 the buzz? Really? That's all you have to do to start a thread? I've been on that show a half dozen times and get emails read on the air almost every week. Honestly all you need is a good take and the willingness to hang on the line for 10-20 minutes...

Do you have any idea how much revenue colleges make off of basketball programs? How about all name recognition generated form getting their team into the Final Four? Don't forget the whole "keeping your fanbase happy" by winning conference and national championships.

Yeah, I think it's fair to say that most schools are more than happy to get, by your definition, "raped" by athletes like Kevin Love, Kevin Durant, etc.

i just listened to this call( i work at 850). it really was not a very spectacular call, nor was dave reeling from the anything that this guy said. and i can say with 100% certainty that we wil not be using that call for any of our commercials. if anyone wants to embed the call i can email you the mp3 of the call.
