money is of no issue here,
im going out on this one, i will consider all brands, dell, apple, tandy, etc

i wanted a laptop but i also need it to work indoors so maybe a hybrid pc

my requirements are, minimum 800nanometer architechture, enough ram for multitasking, usually i have a browser open and minesweeper, internet ready, 2-3 VLB slots, stickers,

what do you recommend?

if money is no issue then ^ is an alright choice, although it's common knowledge you can get much more for your money by getting something else.

Get a Macbook Pro. Sure, they're expensive but they are great computers.

I bought one and I'm spoiled, I don't think I'll ever be able to go back to cheap, chintzy plastic machines again

yeah they're good but if money is no issue you can always buy a laptop much more powerful and nicer than a mac book pro. Plus the macbook pro comes with a 8600m. You can find much better mobile gpus out there.

I'm kind of baffled by how far this thread has gone considering the first post.

I thought the 800nm and vlb were just sarcasm indicating he didn't need a powerful computer. I think i'm still lost.

i don't care how much money you throw at a laptop. you'll never buy something that looks, feels and IS quality like a macbook pro.
