HELP- XP sp2

didnt post in tech talk, its saturday afternoon

So the cpu is running at 99% constantly, the "system" process adds to whatever load other processes have, ie 99% during idle time. "system idle process" is at 0%. not sure what to do, obviously i cant end the process or change its priority. any suggestions

take a screen shot and post it
ill try to help
gimme a shot of your taskmanager with it stretched to show every process, and in the settings of taskmanager, add a few columns - virtual memory is one, threads is another that will help figure this out.

ok so i used process explorer to look deeper and there was a problem with sonic mydvd

gonna try a restart with it uninstalled
