anyone have any comments about this
i thought it was pretty fucked up that the news outlets didnt really check if there were any conflicts
however, im not surprised that it happened...this is common practice in all wars to win the psychological battle

I don't think anyone is at all surprised, nothing to really discuss. As long as news organizations are for profit, they'll never ask the tough questions, dig into the backgrounds of the people they trot out for the world to see, or do anything other than seek the next juicy sound bite.
