Would you sell the monitor separately, and what's the model # if so?

I might. I'd like to sell it as a package. I'm at work now so I'll have to get back to you on the model #.

You can get nearly double the specs for $450-550. You can even get a laptop with almost double those specs for $450-$550.

i think what he meant to say was:

"You can get a brand new computer with much better specs, a warranty and a monitor for $400."

Dual core with a geForce 6100 and a gig of ram. 25 bucks to add another gig of ram and its now better then your dell with an nvidia graphics core and its only 25 bucks more.

and you have a laptop

and you don't need a monitor

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16856101039 100$ for case and mobo
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819112213 50$ for a 3.33 celeron D
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145034 70$ for 2 gigs of corsair DDR2
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822210001 55$ for 160gig hard drive
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102620 22$ for 128MB Graphics card

$297 for an entirely brand new computer that is better than the one you're selling.

The monitor is a good deal, i'll give you that.

And I'm not selling a put me together system.

GTFO if you don't want to buy or want to continue comparing apples to oranges.

$297 you're right
Then I'll charge you $100/hr to put it together and install an OS and it'll end up running you $500.

didn't include shipping?
best buy?
celeron?
really?

you need to brush up on your skills young one. just look at my post right above your failure, observe its greatness and simplicity, and see if you can learn from it.

Yours was slick synapse, you posted it while I was pasting.

Anyway, even if you include the cost of OS and labor,my point was that a used system shouldn't sell for anywhere near as much as it's new counter part.

I was very interested until I saw your price. If the price drops I'll be back.
