Lord knows this guy needs his own thread. Every time he says something stupid, forgets to breathe or just plain blows up plz to update.
So far this year he called Girardi and Cashman idiots, said Red Sox nation doesn't exist and called out Jon Papelbon.
A few more losses by Hughes and Kennedy and we'll see a real explosion. This should be fun...

Geez, this guy makes me miss George -- at least the last few years of George.
I forget who said it, but I thought it was quite true.
At least when George blew up, he showed some semblance of an understanding of the game of baseball.
Hank...not so much.
IF YOU THROW 100 YOU HAVE TO BE A STARTER!!!1

Well he is right about Chamberlain being a starter, you'd take a dominant SP over a dominant CL any day. I just don't know if the Yankees have anybody that can close games that's young and as good as he is, but I think it'd be cool if we watched Papelbon and Chamberlain be dominant closers up there for the next 15 years. 4/23/2008 2:35:12 PM |

lol
Giving up a run is not self destructing. My goodness. The guy has given up THREE total runs in 30 innings of work.
It was unfortunate that it happened in the bottom of the ninth. But geez. It's April.
He didn't self destruct. Even the best closers (Rivera, Papelbon, for ex.) give up runs from time to time.

they will turn him into the next kerry wood if they put him as SP

btw, hank said the yankees need to play more like the rays, then went on to say they need to play like AAA guys looking to earn their first major league check.

The comment that Hank made about his guys playing more like the Rays is the exact type of comment that his father would make...
Only different, when George spoke there was something behind it, because he only came out and spoke when it was needed. This guy lost all credibility over the summer with his comments, I would bet he is a joke within the clubhouse, and he just comes off as one of those "I am here because of my Daddy" type people. He is the guy who you that he became your boss, simply because of bloodline.
However, this moron is fucking entertaining. 5/18/2008 11:57:10 PM |

^ He says in that article he has never seen a team decimated by injuries as much as this years Yankees. Gimme a fucking break. The Braves have had it far worse this season than the Yankees, losing their top 3 starters, their top 3 bullpen guys, their best hitter for a long stretch, 2/3 OFs, etc. 8/22/2008 11:30:24 AM |

^Yeah and there are several teams that deal with issues....it's part of the game.
The Braves have easily been worse....Smoltz, Glavine, Hudson, my God those 3 are better than Pavano, Joba, and Wang. He is such a crybaby.
The Cardinals (since I know them well) have had similar trouble with no Carpenter (better than anyone the Yankees have period), little Wainwright, Pujols has been hurt, Ankiel's been hurt, Mulder is done, Clement pretty much quit. 8/24/2008 11:56:24 PM |

ESPN ran some figure last week on the number of 'notable' DL stints this year
The yanks and some other team were at 21, the rays were at 20
