kinda lame imo

I'd rather it be somebody who will be on the field on sundays

rather than just sitting on his ass in his real. comfortable. jeans.

It's like when Desmond Howard was on the NCAA cover a few years ago. Former Packers media bias!

yeah, that's a fucking cop out. Then again, John Madden has always had an unhealthy man crush on Favre

They did that for NCAA Football 2006. I know b/c I have it and still love to play that year. The gameplay was really good for that year. The reason why they put Desmond Howard on the cover was b/c Matt Leinart, the previous year's Heisman winner, stayed in college. They had usually put the previous year's Heisman winner or another NFL rookie that had a great college career on the cover. Had Leinart went on to the NFL, he would have been on the cover of 06.

I think he goes and coaches women's volleyball in a HS somewhere. He has the look down pat

and the only thing that surprises me is that it took this long. Madden must not have much say over the cover guy.

it would be better if he was just on the Hall Of Fame version of Madden09, wouldn't mind that and would make marketing sense

I want Eli to be on the front so he can get the curse

captain fucking obvious...whats worse is that you make it sound like you're one of the select few privy to this information

I was just expanding on why EA did it for those that didn't know. I only pay attention to the NCAA Football games every two years. I started with the 2002 game, then two years later got the 2004 game. 2006 was the first one that I got when it first came out. I got 2008 during the holidays. I have no idea about all the features on the odd numbered years. The only new feature that I remember being introduced for the odd numbered years was in 2005 when they introduced the Toughest Places to Play and had the controllers shake whenever the big stadiums' crowds got loud.

haha, yeah those were fun. i'd make a sign that would say "GO TO HELL CAROLINA!" and it would always piss off my brother when we played against each other.

[madden]You could cut off all Brett Favre's arms and legs and he'd still be the best torso in football [/madden]
