Does occasionally restarting your computer make it run faster? my computer seemd like it was being slow, then i rebooted and it seems fin now?

maybe u had a program running that u didnt know was running that was draining resources and a reboot fixed that

sounds like you have too many services/processes running... run msconfig or somehting similar to fix it. (ccleaner works well)

just leave it running until it locks up

i bet a million doll hairs that if you opened your case and had a can of compressed air, some of which you'd use to get high for 30secs-minute, you'd be amazed how much dust would blow off the heat sinks and the processor fan and what not
