so i used to be a huge mythbusters fan, now Im hooked on this show

said recently that the chances of a Randy Johnson bird ball hit was 1 in 19,000,000,000.

they couldnt even recreate it.

some of the stuff they do work on, its amazing...some of the force figures and all

anyone else addicted to this?

It's an ok show but most of the ones i've seen aren't very convincing. They did an experiment as to whether point guards have better peripheral vision. Seriously?

I always felt it was the same with mythbusters, though not as much as this show, that most of the experiments were extremely conditional.

Very, very weak show. Good concept, terrible execution. Pretty much the same thing as Smash Lab. If you want to perform experiments, perform some fucking experiments. If you want to show some slow-mo shots of cool shit, that's fine too. But comparing a wide receiver's catching ability to the size of an elephant? Seeing if a player can dunk a basketball with shoulder pads on? That's fucking retarded. Most of their "scientific evidence" seems to be creating computer animations of what you just saw with real people. Wow, CGI people with transparent skin and little lightning bolts flying through their bodies. Fanfuckingtastic. Way to go.

You'll never catch me saying the Mythbusters perform anything close to scientific experiments or that their results are anywhere close to accurate, but compared to these goons, Adam and Jamie are fucking Einsteins.
