Trying to figure out which of my friends don't have Alltel without having to call them. Is there a website where you can type in the number and see what service it is?

I need this for my circle stuff

Look at their cell phones when you are with them?

you can do this on the reverse lookup on whitepages.com but it only works if they haven't ported their phone number to another provider

^^but some of them aren't around anymore
^i'll try that

I hate talking on the phone, that's why I'd rather not call to figure this out, but when I do need to talk to them, I'd rather it not count on my minutes

http://www.fonefinder.net

Damn, this site isn't 100% accurate. I changed carriers a few months ago and kept my number. It still lists my old carrier.

There are several that do that, I use this one. Just click on the one towards the bottom that is for the past 180 days.
