as long as its not some exuberant color most of the time they are fine with it

well, it's a standard apartment in a huge complex.

i don't exactly have a "landlord".

figured the policies were all similar, for the most part, in these huge places.

You should check out your lease, but I know at my huge apartment complex they don't care if you paint as long as you primer the walls before you move out
