Anyone else out there today for the ARCA series race?

Turned out to be a pretty decent race with a 17 year old driver winning it in quite impressive fashion.

Before the race started I got to check out some sweet drag bike action too. I'll post pics later.

I watched a little of it on the TV. They were saying something like those cars run like 850 horsepower???

I'm not sure how much HP they're pushing.

I had Pit/Garage passes, but showed up too late to use them.

Joey Logano in the # 25 car freakin WHOOPED UP on everyone.

At one point, he had lapped the whole field except the 2nd place car.

With 4 laps to go while under caution, he decided to pit, and came out in 6th place I think.

When it went green, he straight up WALKED PAST EVERYONE like they were standing still and blew Ken Schraders doors off to win by like 8 or 9 car lengths (ALL in like 4 laps...which are only 1 mile long at the Rock)

^^i don't know for sure, but i doubt they're pushing quite that much. that's cup level. i'd say more like 700-750 maybe. most of them are retired cup cars though, and the rules are pretty comparable. i do know they put out more than bush cars, but they're also heavier i believe.

it's good to see the track getting used though, it'd be a real shame for it to go the way of north wilksboro.
