its an awful virus if not caught early enough. my nephew contracted a version of this at 10 days old, it turned into meningitis, but they caught it early enough that he survived.




anyways, it's probably like when they had the SARS or bird-flu outbreak. it'll run its course, then go dormant for a while.

One of my roommates took a 2 week business school trip to China in mid-March. About a week after he returned he got severe Laryngitis. It's persisted for over a month and last week he had to have surgery on his vocal cords to try to (somewhat) fix the problem. He's pretty hoarse and the doctors said he might never talk the same.

Coincidence? I think not.
