Mr. Joshua looking back on voting trends that he has observed since turning 18:
2000:
"Who are you voting for?" "Gore." "Oh thats cool. I think I'll vote for Bush though." "Neat"
2004:
"Who are you voting for?" "Bush" "FUCK YOU. JOHN KERRY ALL THE WAY. WE CAN'T HANG OUT ANYMORE. ASSHOLE." "WHY DO YOU HATE AMERICA?" 5/5/2008 5:21:50 PM |

haha "neat" come on....only an idiot would say neat when someone else in 2000 said they were voting for bush

2000
gore is the better choice but bush wins, sigh
2004
we are in the middle of war on terror so its obvious bush is gonna win 5/5/2008 5:26:22 PM |

The candidates presented in 2000 were fairly interchangeable in terms of positions. I don't recall hearing a single heated debate about who was better. It was one of those "We don't have Pepsi, is Coke ok?" situations where no one got upset, told the waitress to fuck off and then stormed out of the restaurant. 5/5/2008 5:29:27 PM |

wtf it is NOT a war on terror. Its an unecessary waste of human life, energy, American $$, and time.
Instead of blowing up the middle east, we should be working on creating efficient alternative fuels so we can gtfo of there and let them piss in their oil and stop raping us at the gas station. 5/5/2008 5:29:46 PM |

Republicans were against intervention in Kosovo. He based the statement on that.
He adopted a more hawkish pro-active foreign policy after 9/11.

That would be a time to seriously consider the use of force. Secondly, whether or not the mission was clear. Whether or not it was a clear understanding as to what the mission would be. Thirdly, whether or not we were prepared and trained to win. Whether or not our forces were of high morale and high standing and well-equipped. And finally, whether or not there was an exit strategy. I would take the use of force very seriously. I would be guarded in my approach. I don't think we can be all things to all people in the world. I think we've got to be very careful when we commit our troops. The vice president and I have a disagreement about the use of troops. He believes in nation building. I would be very careful about using our troops as nation builders. I believe the role of the military is to fight and win war and therefore prevent war from happening in the first place. So I would take my responsibility seriously." |

no, but he'll play to the bible thumpers. see: mccain's potential re-baptism. or tizm...whatever it is. what perfect timing. an honest attempt at reaffirming his faith or a political ploy. hmmm. i don't know i don't know i don't know. i love how one of the news articles on it was all like "mccain will talk about his faith on his own terms" call me a cynic but i feel like that means, he'll play the faith card when it might be of some use. and we all know we need the religious right to come out in full force and stomp those baby killers to the ground!!!

i like how everyone whines so much about the calls. they invented this thing recently....what is it called....hmmm hmmm HMMM....oh yea, caller id. i think it like, shows you numbers and if you don't recognize them then you don't have to answer. i think a lot of cell phones have it. plus if you do answer it takes two seconds to politely tell them that you don't care/don't want to talk/AND TO ASK NOT TO BE CALLED AGAIN. and if its automated just hang up the damn phone. 5/5/2008 7:45:10 PM |
