if it doesnt get stolen first, there have been a lot of break-ins where you have been parking that thing lately, i got in my truck this morning, stepped on a trim ring, looked over and realized the drivers window was busted out and the stereo was gone in the car next to me, 6th one in the last 2 months

I'd never sacrifice my seating area for the hounds, but I do like Memphis equipment. Just don't get a dog and you're fine. 5/13/2008 11:30:31 PM |

I don't think they will get stolen. It would take some work, not saying it's hard, but it would take a few minutes at least.
I can't this weekend, I'll be in GA for a car show. I've got a red top sitting here, but I don't know if it is any good. I know it is dead, but a recharge may be all that it needs.
The rear seat wasn't good for much anyway. Since I needed the hatch for the subs, I needed a place to stick luggage and groceries.
Yes, you can plug a bass directly into the system through the HU. 5/14/2008 12:17:43 AM |

who makes those they're huge but i have no idea about the quality of them which means they're either ridiculously high end or the other way. 5/14/2008 7:50:25 AM |

Memphis is considered a good brand. Not very very top end, but it isn't cheap by any means. Memphis Mojo M3 15'' You can look it up if you really want to. 5/14/2008 10:41:24 AM |

what's with all the midbass? u got the 8w7 and an extra set of 6.5s? 5/15/2008 3:04:21 AM |

The 15''s won't be on all the time. The 8w7 will take care of the normal duty use, accompanied by the 6.5 midbass. The 8w7 is in its own enclosure inside that large box. You can see the 8w7 and the 250/1 mounted on the back of the box. The Big Bell amps will be sitting in top of the box. I have 8 channels of mids/highs to fill up in the car. Sticking up near the bottom is the bracket for the rear seats. It is welded in so the option is show it or build the floor height up. 5/15/2008 7:01:26 AM |

With the immobilizer in these cars, they won't start without the key nearby. Though you can strip this car to the bones in about 15 minutes if you know what you are doing. 5/18/2008 9:04:58 PM |

I've got an SPL meter that'll do 150db if you want to check it out before hand...
I just took my frequency generator to charlotte though so I can't optimize for you... but I'm definitely curious to see how those sound... I'm in town till thursday...
I used to ask for money to use my SPL meter... but Sam is the only person who ever took me up on my services so it's been sitting dormant for nearly 2 years...
lemme know if you want to meter it this week 5/19/2008 12:19:22 AM |
