Please help me find my kitten.
Pics in my gallery.
His name is Sonny, has a black collar with paw prints on it, a cat shaped tag with his name and my ph#. He is orange and cute and little and has a microchip as well. He was adopted last month from the animal shelter. We love him very much and just want him home. He slipped out of the back door last night as we were going in and out of the house working on our garden and has not been back since.
Please help
$50 Reward will be given to the person who brings him home to us safe.
Thank You

there are unfort about 50 orange tabbies that live in and around university commons apartments, check with anim control, as they often run sweeps here, so may have picked yours up and be holding it.

Hopefully if animal control picks it up they'll check for the chip.

I'll keep an eye out for him!

SIGH...here I am again....BTTT. Yes I have lost my kitten 3 times now. If you see him let me know. My boyfriend was watering our garden and had the door open as he went outside and Sonny jetted [ast him. Since the last time Sonny got out we invested in a gate on the porch thinking it would help. It did not. He is so small he slipped right through the gate. As I tried to get him he jumped over our chain link fence so fast there was nothing I could do. I'm not sure what the deal is. Has anyone had issues with their cats like this before? I mean I have another cat and he is an outside cat. He goes out, stays within our fence then comes back in the house after an hour or so. But, Sonny, our kitten, is no longer allowed outside because he has been lost 2 previous times now. I dont get it. He just takes off and gets lost. Usually cats - even kittens who are Sonny's age (7 months old now) can get back home. Especially if they've been out before and found their way back.
It's so depressing. He's always trying to get out. We try to be so careful but he's so small and so darn fast its hard to constantly keep him in. The door gets open for a sec and bam, he's gone. When I run after him he's just too quick.
Does anyone have any suggestions? He has tons of toys and I play with him alot. He's fed regularly and always has a clean litter box. I don't get why he always wants to run away.
Well...if anyone has ideas let me know. And if you see him email me and let me know where. Theres a reward for anyone that returns him. Let me know b4 you come though so I can go to the ATM.
Thanks again

Its good that you have him chipped! I second getting him fixed. Even if it doesn't help with him being an escape artist, at least he won't get another cat preggers.

Yes, I got him from the animal shelter. He is neutered and has a microchip. And he has his shots and stuff.
And if you find him jataylor I'll getcha a big ole case of the best beer you like. That applies to everyone. Hehe, the reward is what I would have to pay if he goes back to the shelter. I think its a 75 dollar fee.

The last two times he went missing he came back within 12 hours. This time its been 30 hours now. No sign of him. I got an email from someone last time he was gone and he apparently went all the way up to Athens drive. I Just hope he didn't get hit on Gorman st or something. I'm so sad over this. If anyone catches him my ph# is on my tag. If you spot him email me right away at gmsurgey@gmail.com - I may forget to check back here as often as I check my email.

So besides getting him fixed coz he is already what else can anyone suggest to make sure this doesn't happen again. I mean like I said we watch him and try to keep him in constantly. I don't know what to do. I know he is happy with us. He's so affectionate and loving. I think he wants to go out because our other cat gets to go out all the time. So I guess he wants to go with our older cat. He's just a baby and he cant remember how to get home this is just so sad. First time I've ever gotten a rescue animal and I feel like I've let him down.

SONNY GOT RETURNED. A nice lady from Merrie Road just called me to tell me she had Sonny. SHe just dropped him off. Apparently he showed up at her home this afternoon and she tried to catch him but he would not come to her but nor would he go away. So she said she left her porch door open for a while and eventually he wandered in her house. When she got him in she fed him and looked at his collar and called me. She refused the reward. She was a nice lady.
Thanks to you all for being so nice and willing to help be on the lookout for me. We're going to keep him on extra lockdown. I'm going to look into getting an electric fence to put around the perimeter of the porch. Thats the only thing I can think to do to ensure he does not get out again.
