How is there not a thread for this?

Anyway, would it be worth it to see this movie if I've not seen the first one, and basically is it worth a damn?

If you liked the first, you'll like this one.

Some parts felt pretty slow. More action this time around. Some of the scenes had me going wtf.

It was good.

Not quite as good as the first one I think. There was more action and battle, but the storytelling wasn't as good IMO.

Susan is pretty hot tho.

Movie was too long with not enough of a plot. Stick with the first or get this for like $4 when it comes to dvd.

the mistake they made was starting the movies in the middle of the series instead of at the beginning.

^^ they're just going by publication order, and even in chronological order, lion witch and wardrobe was still 2nd, not exactly starting in the middle

How many people have heard of Narnia books other than Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe? There's no way the first movie draws as much people (and hopefully gets them to come back to the others) if its Magician's Nephew.

Well I would've gone to see it. I really like the books in chronological order better, though I'll be happy to see Dawn Treader sooner, I suppose.

Dawn Treader is the third in publication order.

Plus, Dawn Treader is just after Prince Caspian in the chronology, too.

Why was that army on the move in the beginning building that bridge? It seems like it was on the way to whenever it was going before anything happened with Caspian.
