i honestly don't understand the outrage
because it's like there's 15 seconds left in a basketball game and the score is 88-83(obama), and hillary has the ball and is sinking 3 pointer after 3 pointer(5/7 states she's won), with barack occasionally hitting a free throw(indiana and oregon)
and if she's all but lost, why are you so worried? she's dragging more voters to the polls in record numbers in preparation for november. 5/22/2008 10:07:58 AM |

good thing he isn't. he is, however, having trouble with appalachia.
blue collar workers in states not in appalachia support him on the same level as those who support hillary. the ones who don't are usually 60+. but hes never claimed to be the man of the old. in fact thats exactly what hes campaigning and saying he is not.5/22/2008 10:30:17 AM |

As much as I think that statement applies to the college-educated bohemian retards, the demographics show your above statement applies much more to Hillary than anyone else. Her base of support is high school dropouts, crusty old people, and Appalachian rednecks.5/22/2008 10:38:49 AM |

seeing as how he gets the votes of those who have been to college more so than any of the other candidates out there right now, thats would seem untrue, unless, all those with higher than a high school education are immediately viewed as socialist. 5/22/2008 10:39:01 AM |

RUSH: I mentioned earlier in the program that we have now succeeded in introducing a new term into the popular vernacular, as we have introduced the term feminazi and Uglo-American. Now Hillary's testicle lockbox has made it into the popular vernacular. Friday, Hardball, Chris Matthews, talking with Michelle Bernard about the Democrat primary. She's the president of the Independent Women's Voice, and Matthews says, "Fickle nature of this campaign. Twenty-four hours you have down in Washington, what a difference a day makes, you know, one day."
BERNARD: Whether the president was actually talking about Obama and the Democrats or not, it was a great gift. It gave Obama the ability to go out on the offensive and start giving the American public what his foreign policy credentials are going to look like, and that's something he needs to do. We always have people talking about Hillary Clinton having this great testicular lockbox and she opens it and closes it and she's looking very powerful --
MATTHEWS: Testicular lockbox?
BERNARD: Yes. Yes.
MATTHEWS: Is that a metaphor?
BERNARD: Where have you been?
RUSH: "Where have you been?" Matthews apparently has not heard of the testicle lockbox or the testicular lockbox. Michelle Bernard obviously a fan, the EIB Network introducing the term to Chris Matthews. That's one thing, he should know it because he's had experience with the testicle lockbox. He made the statement that the only reason she got elected senator is because her husband cheated on her, and then the Clinton campaign lowered the boom and the lid on the testicle lockbox and Matthews had to apologize. I mean, he's had experience with the thing and professes not to know anything about it.

This statement doesn't make any sense. Credentials are something you're supposed to already have. I seriously doubt Obama is going to accumulate any foreign policy credentials during his campaign.

thats the most retarded thing ive ever heard.
you're telling us that her 50.5 to 49.5 win in IN was a three pointer?
or that winning PA, with the oldest population in the US excepting Florida, was a three pointer??
or that winning WV -- by any conceivable metric -- is a three pointer???
Kentucky and Oregon... the best you can say there is they traded baskets. not to mention that Obama even won the poor, uneducated, unemployed white vote in OR. and that's the extent of hillary's demographic.
to try and compare a candidate winning/not-winning a dem primary/caucus in one state as evidence that they will win/not-win the state in a general election is fallacious reasoning. but if you want to go there, just for fun: KY and WV do not make or break any national election. Whereas the West Coast and the South can and has.
look, RAT, combined with all your other uninformed, bizarre and fallacy-ridden statements, how on earth do you ever expect anyone to ever take you seriously?

I suppose my post was pretty ambiguous, but I wasn't saying I believed or didn't believe he had ties to Islam. I'm simply stating that many have the perception that he does because that's what people in the press keep bringing up. I mean, if you're dumb enough to see Obama on tv and find a reason to love him, why can't other people be dumb enough to see him on tv and find a reason to hate him?

^^ wow. way to explain your gross mischaracterization with a gross overgeneralization.
most people who support Obama didnt just watch him on TV. its a grassroots movement that will define all grassroots movements for the next 50 years. I saw him speak here in Seattle for a $10 donation. while Bush was making appearances on McCain's behalf across the lake for $1500 a plate. If I had been quick enough, i could have even had him personally autograph his book for me at the local bookstore.
besides the personal events, the networking and organization of supporters is nothing short of astounding. if i had time, I could go to an Obama-related event damn near every week.
