Is this that movie that had all the dancing Chihuahuas at the Mayan temple?

I felt sick after watching that trailer.

they fired all these 2D animators to make this 3D bowel movement of a movie. fantastic.

also, I wonder if there will be problems with being overrun with unwanted chihauhaus like they did with the 101 dalmations remake?

and his name is "papi" . . . i mean . . might as well have just gone with Pedro or Juan or beaner

I'm not sure about Love Guru and Zohan

nobody went to see Austin Powers or Billy Madison in the theaters either and they are both good movies

They've all been downhill since Big Daddy when he decided to start putting more mature plots in them.

I don't want to see that.

Chihauhaus are always unwanted.

I think I'll see Don't Mess with the Zohan, it looks pretty funny like Dodgeball and other slapstick stuff was.

Austin Powers made about $68 million world wide (The Spy Who Shagged Me made $310M worldwide for comparison's sake - earned more in it's opening weekend then the first did total). I remember going to see it opening weekend with a buddy and being among about 3 dozen people in a 7:30pm showing.

Billy Madison made $24M worldwide

Reign Over Me was a serious Sandler movie I really liked it (thou it was very sad)

I'd say the bigger problem that this movie would create is the possibility of people getting behind some kind of massive Chihuahua genocide movement.

I really liked Reign Over Me.

And I couldn't believe this Beverly Hills Chihuahua shit when I saw it in some previews last night. I'm trying to envision the meeting where the higher-ups in Disney decided to let this one through.

On that note....I really want to see Kung-Fu Panda and Wall-E.

Do most of you understand that a movie isn't made by the actors who are in it? The reason Punch Drunk Love was good is because it was a PT Anderson film. The reason Don't Mess With Zohan will be shit is because it's directed by a guy whose last (arguably) decently funny movie was happy gilmore. He's done nothing but shit ever since, and happy gilmore was back when Adam Sandler had some sense of original humor

Dugan movies:

# You Don't Mess with the Zohan (2008)
# I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry (2007)
# The Benchwarmers (2006)
# "Hope & Faith" (2 episodes, 2005)
- Wife Swap: Part 1 (2005) TV episode
- Wife Swap: Part 2 (2005) TV episode
# Karroll's Christmas (2004) (TV)
# "The Mullets" (1 episode, 2004)
- Silent But Deadly (2004) TV episode
# "NYPD Blue" (6 episodes, 1993-2004)
- Take My Wife, Please (2004) TV episode
- Porn Free (2003) TV episode
- Sheedy Dealings (1997) TV episode
- The Truth Is Out There (1997) TV episode
- The Final Adjustment (1994) TV episode
(1 more)
# National Security (2003)
# Saving Silverman (2001)
... aka Evil Woman (Australia) (Europe: English title) (Philippines: English title) (UK) (USA: working title)

I referred to it as a Sandler movie because Sandler was the face of it. When I think of Punch Drunk Love I don't think of the director, I think of Sandler.

Come on Neil, turn on your heart light!

I love Saving Silverman, but that's probably because my mom went to a Neil Diamond concert when she was 6 months pregnant with me (her last hurrah with her girlfriends), leading directly to me loving Neil Diamond

I also hate that just because animated movies are voiced by celebraties that people will think it is worth seeing. I have never. once. gone out of my way to see or have had my mind changed about seeing a movie where i went "oh, it has _____ doing the voice? well i've GOT to go see it now!"
It's so gimmicky that it's sickening.
I like jack black. I like animation. But I am not going to go see Kung Fu Panda because Jack Black is doing the voice for the character, I am going because it looks to be cute and entertaining. I see animated movies for the quality of the animation and what I wouldn't give for a new good quality 2D animated movie that doesn't suck complete balls.
/bloggy rant.
