People usually give me the eye when they ask me what I do and I say I'm a photographer, and then the next question is "Is that a weekend job or a full-time?" Aaaaaand they don't believe me when I say full-time and weddings on the weekends.

But I love my job, if someone doesn't like me because of what I do, I really can't care about them.

i don't think i could ever not care about somebody because of their profession (as long as they have one)....


it's not the job so much as how much they enjoy it and how determined they are to be successful at it...and i don't mean financially....i mean they must have a good work ethic and work hard at whatever it is they do....


i mean...my daddy is a farmer....he's a good man and a hard worker...if i found somebody like that I wouldn't say "you're not good enough for me since you aren't raking in $100K+/year"....

conversely I wouldn't be with a coked out, man whore just because he was making $20K/month....like a friend of mine did

I've found nurses to be pretty fucking crazy. So I might judge them initially...but if they seem alright, I'll proceed.

I'm partial to waitresses for some reason though. Maybe its because I know they're probably not pampered and can put up with a lot of shit.

i haven't dated anybody that was old enough to have a real profession in so long though...my opinion may be different now


the last two were a cowboy and a mortgage broker....and they were both fucked up



and FYI....the cowboy was a year older than me and the broker was 7 years older....this could be the root of my aversion to older men

To the person that said they wouldn't date a teacher because it's a "cop out". Fuck you! I am a teacher, walk a week in my shoes and we will see what you say. Some people choose to have jobs that actually make this world a better place.

As far as judging anyone on their profession, who the hell is anyone to judge anyone else. A stripper may have to strip because life and shit happens. My feelings are that as long as the person is good and into you f the rest.
