sunburn? Put vinegar on the sunburn, you might end up smelling odd but at least you won't peel!
also for ant bites put meat tenderizer on them, the baking soda and water paste also works to remove the sting 6/4/2008 6:10:05 PM |

I had a great uncle who swore by gargling with vinegar for a sore throat. I tried it, but with no luck. Sipping brandy seems to help, though. Also my wife's grandmother makes what she calls "Granny Salve" which is half and half camphor and vaseline or lard. Her whole family uses it on all kinds of cuts, etc... 6/4/2008 9:17:19 PM |

And if it doesn't work I heard eating black sesame seeds helps with bed wetting.

Put meat tenderizer on a bee sting. The pain goes away almost immediately. I have personally done this and know it works.

if you have a low fever (dont suggest this if it's high) go outside and sprint for 1/4-1/2 mile. walk back.
most of the time it would completely break my fever right then and there. 6/6/2008 4:06:59 PM |
