Since it is summer time and gas prices are sky high, let me first say that (1) the A/C works great and (2) this car averages 25-26 miles per gallon (and more on the highway).
Asking $5,500, PM me if interested, thanks.
Basics:
Style: 4-Door Sedan Transmission: 4-speed Automatic Mileage: 145,000 Exterior Color: Silver Interior Color: Gray Cloth
Key Features:
Cruise Control, Power Steering, Power Windows, Power Door Locks Power Brakes, Power Moonroof, Rear Window Defroster, Driver and Passenger Front Airbags, Anti-Theft Alarm System, Power Exterior Mirrors.
Owner History:
This car was inspected and received a clean bill of health days prior to my purchase in July 2006. I’ve had no accidents or mechanical problems of any kind since that time aside from routine oil changes.
Note – This car has minor cosmetic nicks/scrapes/etc on the front and rear fenders. This car is also due for a routine tune-up this summer. I’m happy to negotiate these costs into the final price.

Sorry 'bout forgetting the pics, was in a rush this afternoon. And yeah there's a post on craiglist for it, but it's listed at $6000. Apparently I felt TWWers deserved a discount

I was there when Erios agreed to get the car from the original owner.
IIRC there were a lot of miles on it when he got it from the original owner, but I can't remember how many.
It is a nice car, I got to drive it once on the way back from Winthrop University a few years ago.
If I wasn't about to buy a house I would grab this in an instant. 6/5/2008 6:10:38 AM |

^^^ I want to say it had like 110K when I got it. The previous owner was a traveling salesman - hence all the nicks in the front and rear bumpers. My guess is the went through a lot of small towns. The good news is that, from my conversations with him and the inspection before the sale, the guy took care of this car very well (i.e. changed the oil regularly, went through routine inspections, etc.)
The mechanic we hired to look at it said exactly TWO words after handing back the keys - "It's good." That was good enough for me
^^ No sorry the ducky is mine

UPDATE - Showed the car a few times, no serious offers yet. I've decided to go ahead with a tune-up this Wednesday just to confirm there's no major problems with the car. I'll post the results whenever I get a chance. 6/9/2008 1:13:33 PM |

Update - Several people have looked at it, still looking for a serious offer.
Timing belt - Was replaced by the previous owner, so more than two years ago. The belt itself is in good condition (as stated by a mechanic who inspected the car at the request of a prospective buyer).
I've decided to proceed with a tune-up, which will get done hopefully this week. After several showings I think it'll be easier to sell after having performed regularly scheduled maintenance which will give the car a clean bill of health. It's better to give potential customers peace of mind than it is to leave them wondering if the car is in as good a shape as I say it is. 6/17/2008 11:52:34 AM |

Kudos to whomever picks this up. I love my 99 Accord Coupe -- only 135k but it runs like it's brand new. And even with the V6, it still gets between 28-30 on the highway. 6/17/2008 12:07:08 PM |
