who would it be?
Here's a quick list of some dead artist off the top of my head...
Bradley Nowell Jimi Hendrix Janis Joplin Jim Morrison 2Pac Biggie Elliot Smith The black Michael Jackson Layne Staley Kurt Cobain Shannon Hoon John Lennon George Harrison John Bohnam Keith Moon etc...
Of all those people, I think I would have saved Jimi Hendrix. 6/5/2008 8:05:17 AM |

2pac, or the black Michael Jackson.
I'd love to see what 2pac would have done in the late 90s early 2000 as mainstream rap turned to complete crap. Man...think of the shit he would have said about Bush in the past eight years. He would probably would have gotten shot by the government before some gang member (or the Police ). 6/5/2008 8:11:54 AM |

the entirety of "colour and the shape" is an incredible album. I mean everlong is good but the record as a whole is phenomenal. I enjoy it better than any nirvana album. Even the first album and there is nothing left to lose are pretty good records.
oh and, i really enjoy elliot smith, but he is still very overrated.

if it were a question of who i wish would have never died, then i think the answer would have likely been kurt cobain (because i think he had better music in him, and don't really like that he has been idolized for what likely would not have been his best work).
as far as who i'd like to see brought back to life: i think jimi hendrix would be my front-runner, just because i think he would adapt to the current times and bring his own flavor to it the most. 6/5/2008 11:00:21 AM |

I'd probably say Jeff Buckley since he had so much potential and was cut so short
sometimes when I listen to his music I think of what a tragedy it is that he died
I would say John Bonham but Led Zeppelin was losing its edge by that time anyway 6/5/2008 11:57:07 AM |

^it took way too long for someone to say him...though he's not who I would personally resurrect/save (Hendrix, John Lennon and Freddie Mercury), I was shocked he wasn't on the Duke's original list...
i mean, it's fucking Elvis.
