$100 for two lawn tickets???
Holy fuck that!
I might pay $100 for lawn tickets if zombie Lennon and zombie Harrison reunited with Ringo and McCartney. But not Jimmy fucking Buffett. 6/5/2008 10:50:18 PM |

I didn't get $100 for the two tickets.......I got $175 for both. They sold very quickly with a lot of people wanting them at that price. Unfortunately, they weren't my tickets so I didn't make anything.....just doing a favor for a friend.

What a dumbfuck response, "doing my friend a favor" you are obviously just a hardcore Alanis Morisette fan that buys tickets that real fans would like to buy so you can see your gayass music or buy dildos to fuck yourself 6/6/2008 1:50:24 PM |

^^^Douchebag, what makes you so certain I wasn't doing a favor for a friend? Would you like to put your money where your (large) mouth is? I'll bet you any amount you can put up from your gay prostitution "hobby" (I know, you think you aren't gay but you don't know about your boyfriend). Put up enough and I'll get my friend/neighbor to show her receipt for the purchase of the tickets.
The only reason I shared what they sold for was to let people know what they can expect to pay if they don't have tickets and want to go to the concert. She and her husband changed their mind about going because it is going to be pushing 100 degrees tomorrow night. 6/6/2008 4:28:30 PM |

I would love to see a ticketmaster receipt for 175 because it doesnt exist, those tickets were 50 a piece. Unless you bought them on ebay which you may have, I know you dont have a receipt for that much. And once again a real fan would not worry about a little heat at a show. 6/7/2008 8:36:37 AM |

^I wasn't implying that the tickets cost $175 for both. I was saying that I could show you that the tickets were purchased from ticketmaster by my neighbor, not me. I was doing her a favor and selling the tickets for her. I didn't make any money on them but she did.
In your first post, you had an issue with me doing her a favor and "suggested" that I had purchased the tickets myself to re-sell them. I was (and still am) willing to prove to you that she purchased them, not me. I'm not sure why you seem to be so angry about her selling her tickets. Ticket re-selling (or scalping, if you prefer) goes on everyday at just about every event. It's success relies on something called "supply and demand". What do you care if she is a "real fan" or not?
By the way, I guess I'm not a "real" Jimmy Buffet fan either. I think his musc is a little overrated (try to name more than 4 of his songs in 30 seconds) and I would not sit out in 100 degree weather to listen to him. IF I did have a pair of lawn tickets of my own and could make $100 selling them, they would be gone. 6/7/2008 9:57:07 AM |

^ Jimmy Buffet is the man, his concerts are awesome and his music is not overrated. You may not like his music and that is fine, but everyone has different tastes and a whole lot of poeple like Buffet. BTW I could name you 10 Buffet Songs in 30 seconds, and I bet there are a lot of others on TWW that could do the same. 6/7/2008 10:27:09 AM |
