Holy fuck this is annoying

It just grew back, then I ripped it off while moving a couch. As it has been hanging for about a week i decided to trim it down as far as it goes. Come to find out it was barely hanging on, so it got pulled off. Hopefully it grows back stronger this time than last, but god it feels way better now that it's not attached anymore.

Mine comes off a lot.

But I had ingrown toenaisl and I had surgery done where they cut the sides off of the big nails and put some kind of acid that would stop it from growing there.

It worked perfectly on the right toe, but it makes the left nail fall off every time it gets to be full sized.

haha I have ingrown toenails too but everytime I clip my nails I make sure to dig into my skin and get the ingrown shit. It's worked out ok so far.

For ingrown toenails, I cut a little bit of the nail at a downwards angle but while it's still strong enough to hold on to the rest of the nail I rip it off sideways and it pulls off that little horn that grows into your toe at the same time. It works really well and doesn't really hurt at all.

That's what I do, it only hurts when I start ripping nail still attached to skin. I'm always amazed by how much is undet that flab of skin when I pull it out. haha As long as I stay on top of it I see no reason to get fucking toenail surgery.

I've had that ingrown toenail surgery on both big toes (although only on one side of one of them) and I've never had a toenail just go and fall out or any shit like that.

Oh snap. Me too.

My feet are relatively big, so my big toes have always looked funny with such a skinny toe nail because the acid prevents them from growing on certain areas.

Although, *knock on wood* I've never lost my big toe nails.

This is exactly the situation on my left toe. The fucker just isn't attached well. I don't have the right one done though, I just dig it out instead.

What did you do with that nail, it was still kind of attached in that picture. I would have just ripped off the bastard

I also had my right toenail ripped off one time when I for some reason thought it would be a good idea to wear flip flops to a hard rock show at Cat's Cradle.

A mosh pit formed around me and someone stepped on my toe and ripped the toenail halfway out.

^^my second toe is longer than my big toe and my track spikes in high school were really tight on my feet and would rub that toe funny. i lost so many toenails from running. and they DO grow back correctly...it just takes a loooooonggg time.
