On the Praxis II for Middle Grades Language Arts, I found that there are 90 multiple choice questions worth 75% and 2 short essay parts worth 25%. A score of 145 is needed to pass. How much would the multiple choice questions/essays be worth?

so what's the answer? 1 point each on the MC part seems like not enough. 2 points each seems like the test would be very easy to pass.

I'm not the one actually taking the test...just trying to get information about it. Got this email from a friend this morning, and looked but couldn't find anything:

like. I'm going to be taking the Praxis II Middle Grades Language Arts.
There are 90 multiple choice questions worth 75% of my grade and 2 short
answer questions worth 12.5% each. I have to make a 145 to pass, but I
can't figure out what is the top score. Can you do a little research on that for me?? "

If your kids are in a public school anywhere in NC, they'd be fortunate to have me as a teacher rather than the majority of current ones.

All you know is that 1 essay question is worth 15 MC questions.

Don't fuck up the essay questions

^That means you have to have a 100% to pass the test?

Okay, assuming 200 pts. as a top score, that means 145/200 = 72.5% Sounds reasonable.

So if we assume that 200 is the top score, then 1 2/3rds pts. for a MC problem and 25 pts. each for the essay questions.

Again, don't fuck up the essay questions

^Yes.

^^^After I posted, I thought about that.

In parallel, an apple costs 50 cents, an orange 78 cents; how much does it cost to get laid?

If you have one bucket with 3 gallons of water and another bucket with 2 gallons of water, how many buckets do you have?
