At about 7 AM I woke up with a tight pain in my calf, I'm like "damn, it's a cramp, I'll just stretch it out and it go back to sleep"

So I stretched my leg out and it felt like a dozen knives stabbing me in the calf repeatedly. I yelled extremely loudly, my dog was like "WTF", and I had to get up hobble around on it for several minutes before it mostly went away.

It was seriously much more painful than snapping my ankle in half.

I can still feel feel it now, even though I have stretched my leg several times this morning.

I used to randomly wake up in the middle of the night w/ this shit. Hasn't happened in a year or two, though. Wonder what was causing it.

Tight bed covers can cause charley horses

dehydration

and just plain old laying and stretching your calf the wrong way

Yeah, when I'm in bed I seem to get those and weird cramps in my toes where they start freaking out and getting all contorted

"restless leg syndrome" is really just a name for how fat americans sit around eating sugar filled products all day without any physical activity and their atrophied muscles spasm at night as a result.

i've had that before its not restless leg syndrome... the trick to break this craop in curl the leg into a fetal position against your chin and put as much weight on the ball as possible - sit like that for abotu 2 minutes and go back to sleep...

leg cramps go away in a few minutes no matter what you do

don't listen to TWW's bullshit cures. "Aha, I said the alphabet backwards and my cramp went away ... I HAVE DISCOVERED THE MIRACULOUS CRAMP CURE!!"
