Quentin Tarantino thinks he some brilliant master mind because he makes a movie with no plot, and tells the end of the story first then the beginning last. Furthermore, he likes to fill it up with useless dialogue that revolves stuff like a quarter pounder.

I'm not surprised that you don't appreciate the complexities of the film. What is this, a youtube comment?

Free for all!

1. The director doesn't write the script.
2. Dialect /= dialogue

i have no interest in pursuing a tarantino discussion, and you aren't wrong about him, however pulp fiction is an awesome movie and played with plot sequences before it was such a trite thing to do.

What movies do you find good if 'pulp fiction blows'? The Marine?

I love Tarantino's other stuff, so I really expected to like it. I didn't hate it, but I didn't enjoy it, and for the life of me I still can't understand why everyone gets so ridiculously defensive over it. It's just a movie.

^The same can be said for most movies.

It's the movies that hit a nerve in someone that really makes them like that movie or the occasion while watching it that people like a particular movie so much. So much that they will defend it on the internet.

i dont even mean to get defensive, its just annoying when someone has to announce how bad something is clearly just to go against popular opinion

It's also annoying when you say "I didn't like that movie" when someone starts talking to you about it and then they spend the next 20 minutes telling you that you're wrong.

if he had just said he didnt like the movie, i wouldnt have argued, and i didnt argue with you because you seem like you have actually seen it and just genuinely did not like it, which is an opinion and cant be right or wrong

but i decided to be a douchebag about it because i was bored and that guy annoyed me

I might give you overrated (which I might disagree with anyway) but to say it simply isn't a good movie is just fucking retarded.

There are certainly parts of Pulp Fiction that are terrible (everything that has to do with Bruce Willis and any female character), but the rest of the movie is great.

Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 96%. The only people i've known to dislike this movie have changed thier minds once they sat through it and were told everything awesome about it.
