That my new roommate (some guy renting a room from a friend I've had for a long time):


1. Seems to go to the bathroom at least 35 times a day

and

2. Complained to my friend about having to share a bathroom

I mean, I dont want to be a dick, and I'm trying to understand what the issue is, but it's not like I'm hogging the bathroom in any fashion.

I take 10 minute showers, for God's sake. This dude got up at 7AM on Friday and was in the bathroom for an hour and a half. When I reasonably thought he was done at 8:30, I grabbed my shit and went in there to get a shower and get my ass to work. I heard him walk back down the hall once I was in there with the door locked, probably frustrated that I went in.


Who takes fucking 2 hours in the bathroom, and worse yet, what kind of prima donna fucking complains about not having a bathroom to themselves?

there's no excuse for a guy taking that long in the bathroom in the morning. none.

as for the bathroom trips during the day, maybe he has a bladder infection or something like that which makes him have to piss all the time?

maybe he drinks something like tea or lemonade which acts as a diuretic for him, and he doesn't realize it?

or maybe...just maybe...he has a nasty coke habit, so he goes to the bathroom often to snort powder off of a mirror.


whatever it is, be courteous like you were today....but at the same time, don't alter you schedule too much to accommodate him. it's his problem...he needs to find a way to fix it.

There are a ridiculous amount of diseases and health problems that can cause frequent urination...and I'm sure its embarrassing and uncontrollable for him....so I can see why he would want his own bathroom.

Without being a dick, tell him he should consider finding a place to move with its own private bathroom if it's a problem. You don't use the bathroom that much and need to use it yourself.

It's crazy that he's going to the bathroom that much though and moved in somewhere with a shared bathroom. He should've thought about that a little harder.
