I don't know if anyone has been going to these, but Colony has special showings on the first Saturday and third Wednesday of each month, and they have some good ones coming up. They're 35mm prints, too...no projected DVDs.

July 5th THE ROAD WARRIOR @ 11:59pm

July 16th AMELIE @ 7:00 & 9:30

August 2nd ERASERHEAD 11:59pm

August 20th PURPLE RAIN 7:00 & 9:30

i mean i'll give david lynch credit for being original and all, but i found eraserhead almost painful to watch. that being said, i'd watch the other 4 movies.

I love Eraserhead in the fact that it is one of the most disturbing movies for me to watch.

It fascinates me how creepy and unnerving it can be for me despite how old and cheesy it is.

I guess it would be too much to ask for something like Dawn of the Dead (78 of course) or some decent grindhouse.
