While Kias have improved in quality steadily, I would still stay away. My mom had an 01 Sephia (their old 4 door compact civic wannabe) that she bought brand new, and it had a shit ton of electrical problems. Like the dash lights went at 60 miles (not 60k, not 600, 60). They had that warranty for a reason. Another thing about it was the general low quality of the parts. Like my dad had a Kia (my parents are retarded, they bought more than one) that had CV joints and water pump go out at 80k. Most cars wouldn't have those kinds of problem until over 100k miles. 6/9/2008 11:32:08 PM |

At least you're not buying one new thinking your saving money.
I think you probably break even with a toyota / honda after 4 years.
It cant be more than a couple grand.....whats the worst that can happen 6/9/2008 11:58:52 PM |

These Sorentos are not that bad- just make sure the Timing belt and water pump has been done or have it done after you buy it. We had a bunch come in for screws coming off the intake and damaging the heads, but theres a recall for that now. 6/10/2008 8:57:26 PM |
