i was going to say it's kind of like having a magical fairy around the house - before i got married none of my shit "magically" got put away

i'm not sure i've gotten cookies since we've been married - if i did i can't really recall - definitely brownies though

she did step up though and really impressed me this past week when the night before our 1yr anniversary an emergency came up and the next morning on our anniversary she had to drive 10hrs alone and spend the night alone (away from the beach to back home after being there for only 1 day) - then another 7hrs up to KY the following day

i do a few things too - like keep the brita pitcher filled with water

get a fridge with filtered water in the door. problem solved.

i know a couple that does that, it's more like a mother/son relationship though. it's weird.

we have one that's filtered - the point of brita isn't so much the filter as much as it is having chilled water readily available - out of the faucet or fridge isn't cold enough

I wonder if these are low-sugar chocolate chip cookies...

Just kidding, I have an insulin pump and eat the shit out of some cookies whether they're good for me or not.

I'm all the time baking cookies, making cakes, and brownies. I don't have a husband or a boyfriend to give them to.

Usually I just pawn them out on my neighbors

the only advantage i see to marriage/LTRs is that you don't have to wear a rubber.

other than that, i fail to see the point

this is true in theory, and should be true in practice. However, I just got out of a 3 year relationship where we lived together for a year. I have more money now than I did the entire year we lived together, and I even live in a more expensive place. Gotta factor in going out to dinner a few nights a week and having to buy "the good stuff" at the grocery store.
