Buckhead was sort of a last resort for me. I was with two friends who were 20 and we couldn't get into anywhere on Glenwood. The doorman at Hibernian suggested Buckhead and said they were letting in 18+ because it was college night. We got there and waited in line only to find out that they let in 18+ girls and 21+ guys. It kind of pissed us off that you really can't do much of anything in Raleigh until you are 21. I guess it just never occurred to me because I didn't start going out to bars until I was of age anyway. I ended up going back to Buckhead without them out of curiosity. It was definitely $7 wasted and a huge sausagefest despite their efforts.

i have always enjoyed going to buckhead and had a great time last night.

the girls gone wild aspect of it was totally lame - no one was wild, girls were dressed slightly more scandalous and danced a little more riske, but that was it.

it was a sausage fest at first, which was to be expected, but by about 1 AM, it was a very healthy crowd. I had a great time and it was like a really really crowded Saturday. I think that Buckhead is fun and is successful at bringing out large crowds.

In theory, GGW would be superior to a strip club b/c it would be young more natural girls. For example, at ECU, I bet it would have been awesome. In Raleigh, girls have too much respect for themselves are too lame.

I have a good time when I go to Buckhead because I'm usually hammered, but I have yet to attend a truly "successful" event. Also you have to go with a good group of people to have a good time ya know?

besides the overpriced drinks, the music at Buckhead is absolutely terrible. they will follow a song like "lollipop" with "girls just wanna have fun" on a friday night. haven't been there in a few months and don't ever plan on going back

Glenwood was definitely crowded tonight. Waited forever to get into Red Room and finally gave up. Went over to Sushi Blues to grab some food for me and drink for a friend and they had just had last call. Then went to Dive Bar but gotta be 21+. Ended up at Sammy's and hung out for like 1/2 hr before they closed. My friend gave my # against my will to this guy who kept hitting on me at Sammy's.
