I remember in college having to deal with one person in the class but my summer grad class has THREE OF THEM...in ONE CLASS!!!

Now, I have patience but it's a three hour class on Tuesday nights...and the class runs over by 30 minutes because of them and their stupid stories! I have started keeping a tally of how long each of them talks and it's getting ridiculous.

Any creative fixes?

That's what is funny about the professor..she tries to interrupt them but they kinda tag team and argue with her.

and then later "Let's see what the professor has to say on the topic. After all, I am PAYING to hear from him/her."

if it continues: "Hey guys, do you mind just, uh... shutting the fuck up for a minute?"

you could do something about it,,, or you could post complain about it. talk to the proffessor if it bothers you or you feel like your education is being diluted by worthless stories.

theres a guy in my statics class that uses his big professional words to sound all smart but the underlying questions he asks the teacher have really easy, obvious answers.

Ha, there's an old guy in a lot of my classes that would always tell stories about him working at the physical plant for the university.


We could be talking about public relations in the upper levels of federal government, and he'll say something like "well I don't know about that, but at the physical plant..." and give a 5 minute story about how his job/america/government sucks.

I'd say the two are pretty close in age. One lady...named Amy...interrupts just to talk about how bad teaching sucks because her school this and her school that and her coworkers suck and this and that and she does this strategy and it reallly works and she has found this out and blahblahblahblah. The thing that I hate about her is she drags out certain words or will say them way louder to make a point in addition to talking a long time.

haha and the other guy, Robin, has realllllllly bad eczema and he just flakes everywhere...and everything he says starts out with, "Well, it's like what I tell my students in Physics" and half the class just wants to blow their brains out.

It's my last lateral entry class and the thing is...teachers are obnoxious people..and it's a whole class of teachers. Some of us have a hard time taking off the teacher hat and putting on the student hat.

As soon as they start talking, get the prof's attention somehow and just sort of yell louder than the people talking to just ask what the prof was talking about earlier.
