what are you talking about, the ability to maintain the minimum is what the navy and air force are all about

I wish they'd let me do the swim. to get the best score you have to do 500 yards in 7:15. I could do that easily right now.

Hey Nerdchick, is the plaque for the alternates really in the ladies room?

As a navy woman I would expect you to know.

poor BigMan

you could definitely do pushups, in spite of your large manly frame. just use your large manly muscles! If I can do 20 pushups, anyone can.

If you played basketball they would have let it slide. I know you're a door scraper, but you're no David Robinson.

also my knowledge of levers tells me that women should have an advantage in pushups, on account of more weight in the leg/hip area instead of the torso like men. But all that torso weight is from big manly muscles so men win this one

interestingly, at least in the Army, the F/M situp standards are very close together.

the run time and push-ups, are not.

My fat ass can barely do 10 push-ups. And even that might be an optimistic estimate.

I just gave it a quick look, and the Navy men's situp requirements are within 1-2 of the female ones. Of course women have it easier on pushups! IMO there's less justification for the much easier female run time, but I'm slow so you won't see me complaining

David Robinson actually found a loophole; he grew 6 inches after entering the academy.
