Best part was Malkin about having a seizure when she was forced to admit both parties occasionally recycle the same ideas. 6/17/2008 11:03:30 AM |

I watched the whole clip and it's pretty clear that they have no idea what plagiarism is. Talking about similar themes is in no way plagiarism, the examples they used are completely different and just have a theme of 'it sucks for poor people.' 6/17/2008 11:04:24 AM |

Malkin is spot on when she says that we shouldn't confuse the democrat's intellectual bankrupcty with plagiarism.
"Barack Obama is recycling Jimmy Carter's economic and foreign policy, and I think his hope is that people won't remember how those policies turned out" 6/17/2008 12:08:00 PM |

Incorrect.
Malkin was all too correct when she (among other conservatives) accused Michelle Obama of saying "Whitey" during a Trinity Church service. See:

It's a pretty simple formula. "<opposition candidate> doesn't think we should have <socialist and/or outrageously expensive program>. Well, maybe if he went to <shitty city> and talked to <poor person, usually female> who struggles to make ends meet for her <loved one> that <is in some bad situation> he would understand. Maybe if he went to <some other shitty city> and saw the <industry that is outsourcing jobs because of high taxes, except they won't say that because they plan on raising taxes against any and all corporations, as making money is the purest form of evil>, he'd understand."
Democrats engaging in class warfare, okay. I've come to expect that. I don't think it's newsworthy. 6/17/2008 4:03:40 PM |

jesus, i can't believe i just watched all that. In their eyes, i guess the crime Obama committed was using the words "Maybe if he ____". wow, yeah.... i don't know if he ever could have thought of those words by himself unless he watched some video from 24 years ago.
but good old Fox news. this is their version of being "fair" bash bash bash for 2 minutes, "to be fair and balanced, some people believe that all politicians do this, whether or not you're democrat or republican. .... i mean, you would admit, Michelle, that it would be on both sides, wouldn't you?", bash for another 2 minutes
after the 2nd clip when it was abundantly clear there is little to no connection between the videos, even the anchor man tried to back track with "well, if you watch the longer video, the similarities are more obvious" 6/17/2008 7:21:43 PM |

if you watch both speeches in their entirety you will see that it's pretty much the same speech
not plagarism by any means
but for a candidate that's all about change, he's not saying anything that hasn't been said before
which you can say about most politicians but with everyone falling in love with obama because... nevermind, i forget what my point was6/17/2008 8:22:12 PM |
