Surprised no one had made a thread about it yet. Opens June 27, got to see a free preview last night. Full of ridiculous combat/gun scenes, I'm sure a few have seen the trailers with the guy curving the bullet. Based on a comic book. The Matrix without computers, with all of the unrealistic stuff.

Good movie, lots of plot stuff I didn't suspect.

The other stuff is just gravy. But it does look good.

for those who don't know, the director is the same guy who did "night watch" and "day watch."

that means this movie is going to have a LOT of eye candy (as the trailer suggests).

Angelina looked damn nice in the trailers and the action looks like it'd be a lot of fun, but I fully expect this movie to be retarded.

But the lead actor has a pretty ridiculous record of great movies. He might have messed up in choosing this one, but his track record is superb.

I found it entertaining but overall not that good of a movie.

Its the generic, hey its a normal guy, omg he has some crazy ability, omg youre the only one who can stop the bad guy, fight the bad guys, drama, etc

Just saw it. Highly enjoyed it. There was definitely some "you gotta be fucking kidding me" shit going on...but you have to expect that going into a movie that keeps talking about "curving bullets."

So there was some kick-ass action, a decent twist at the end, and plenty of Angelina Jolie throughout. Can't ask for much more.

I was laughing at the sheer ridiculousness of it all, but I enjoyed myself. I liked the humor, too.

I went into the movie thinking that it would probably be ridiculous, and I was right. I can't wait to hear on the news about some kid shooting another kid because he was trying to "curve the bullet around him" This movie was entertaining, but had the stupidest plot that I have ever seen in a movie. If you are thinking about seeing it, you should go just to see how ridiculous it is.

It was pretty good. The man dude is pretty funny. Cool gun scenes. Jolie's ass is always nice to see on the big screen.

went a bit over the line in breaking the fourth wall

i don't like my movie characters talking directly to me

they can narrate all they want...but when they start writing me messages during actions scenes, i just get really annoyed

and the twist was lame...saw it coming a mile away

I enjoyed this movie A LOT. Great action, decent plot, etc. Was it completely ridiculous and unrealistic? Absolutely. Surprise! It's a damn action movie. NONE of them are realistic. The sheer creativity and effects in the action sequences were pretty sweet to me. If you saw the trailer with bullets curving, cars flipping, and her spinning a viper and catching the guy in the passenger seat... and then went looking for something real and believable... you're kind of an idiot in the first place.

Was I the only one that thought Morgan Freeman was bullshittin when he was calling out all of the other assassins names on the "to be killed" list?? Either way doesn't really mess up the ending...but I figured he was doing it to save his ass (which he almost did because Common was going to shoot the main actor...but Jolie did the "right thing").

I guess I was just hoping Angelina would not die.

^eh, i think their names really came up. "fate" saw how they were getting too powerful and not following the rules (unknown to them) I guess.

And Jolie believed him at least, as she didn't want some kind of repeat of what happened to her dad to happen to someone else by any of them staying alive if that makes sense.
