i always said "i wish there was a regular dance show that focused only on hip hop cuz i couldnt possibly care less about contemporary/jazz/etc."

this worked out really well. totally enjoyed watching jaberwokies last season. i heard about fanny pack's gimmick and thought they would blow, but they really did great last night.

Here's my thoughts so far:

1) Super Cr3w will win the show (Ninja's from 1st episode)
2) A.S.I.I.D. is only on the show because of the deaf guy. They are terrible.
3) Xtreme Dance Force looks like a contender. Not sure why the judges bashed em.
4) Fresh Select will finish 2nd. (Remember 2nd place last year?
5) Sassx7 = lol
6) Fanny pack is terrible... wtf are you guys thinking? It's hip-hop, not freak out and be uber gay.

nothing surprising this week. extreme dance crew is going next week. pretty easy to tell who is going home in this show. some of the teams are just leagues better than others.

Yeah... I was dead wrong on them.. they were terrible.

Here's my thoughts now that I've seen a little more:
1) Super Cr3w will still win. Their team is a freaking allstar team of Bboys. I watched some of their youtube videos.... SICK!
2) I still think A.S.I.I.D. is terribad.
3) Boogie Bots had a really good show with the video games dance.
4) FANNY PACK IS FREAKIN' TERRIBLE! They are only on the show still for ratings. (I don't care what you say, this show is fixed to a certain extent)
5) Super Cr3w, Supreme Soul and SoReal Cru are the only good crews on the show, although Supreme Soul is a little out of their league.

they arent the best dancers on the show, but they are still very good and far more creative than some of the other crews. id put them maybe 3rd or 4th.

Just for the record--after tonight's performance, any of you who hated on Fanny Pack in the past can eat a dick.

I think Super Crew will probably win it all this season because their stunts are so memorable and difficult, but Fanny Pack has the best two performances of the season--tonight and their prom night routine were both totally off the chain. They're still not the best dancers, but their insane creativity and different style make up for it. Super Crew has the insane ability and enough creativity to trump them in the judging, but the voters have been weird throughout the show so we'll see.

So Real is technically proficient, and really skilled at being sync'd up and on point, but they're always lacking in the wow factor. Their routines are all too choreographed and together, and their last few have all been iterations on the same "the girls are sexy, guys play up to them" theme; they don't tell stories as well or have as creative of a concept as Fanny Pack or Super Crew. They need to work on that, and throw in a couple of really eye-catching stunts if they want to win the judges' votes. They always do really well in the popular vote though; they must have Houston going for them (Houston has a pretty solid dance scene), or maybe they have the whole Asian contingent on lock, I dunno.

I'm still going to hate on Fanny Pack regardless of their performance last night. Supreme Soul was just as creative and they were all around better than them and they aren't on the show anymore. Fanny Pack should've been gone weeks ago if people knew how to vote.

I disagree about Supreme Soul being as creative as Fanny Pack, but agree that they were probably a better crew overall. Fanny Pack has been consistently the most creative group by far, even on weeks when their execution isn't on point. Supreme Soul's execution was always tight, and they are better technical hiphop dancers (holy goddamn their routine they did to Omarion's "Touch" was sick technically), but if you're going to hate on anyone for still being around after them, hate on Boogie Bots.

It could have come down to Supreme Soul and Super Crew in the finals, but I think Super Crew still would have won against them on most any week. When you look at creativity, difficulty, technical skill, stunts and choreography all put together in one package, I feel like Super Crew still is the best overall. I'll admit I'm a bit partial to b-boying, however; being that strong on breaking definitely gives them an edge on being able to pull off more stunts and difficult moves, though. It's like they said at the start of the show--they're breakdancers who are good enough to learn some choreography, but it's waaaaay harder to be a choreographed dancer and learn how to break.

Fanny Pak was terrible... I'm staying by my word.. I only like one of their dances all season (the prom one).. All others were stupid and cheesy. That's why they finished 3rd. the judges CHOSE them to go home because they were out of their league with Super Cr3w. However, I think the judges would have chosen them to stay over SoReal.
